South on SR 82, 26 miles to Snowmass Creek Road at the Conoco Gas station (at Old Snowmass)

 From Aspen, Colorado:

North on SR 82,  14 miles to Snowmass Creek Road at the Conoco Gas Station.

 There is a stop-light on SR 82 at Snowmass Creek Road. This is the only Conoco Gas Station on SR 82 between Glenwood Springs and Aspen. Do not confuse Snowmass Creek Road with other signs pointing to Snowmass Village closer to Aspen.

Starting at the Conoco Gas Station at Snowmass Creek Road and Rt 82, (Old Snowmass): Turn South onto Snowmass Creek Road next to the Conoco Station.

 DISTANCE MILES ARE CUMULATIVE.

 South on Snowmass Creek Road, 1.7 miles to Stop sign at a Tee intersection.

 Turn Left to stay on Snowmass Creek Road.

          At 3.0 miles, pass Watson Divide Road on left.

          At 4.4 miles, pass Wildcat Way on left.

          At 6.2 miles, pass Mesa Road on right. 

200 yards past the 7 mile marker, Turn Right onto Shield-O Road.
