As required by the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act, the Board of Directors of Shield-O Terraces Homeowners’ Association, at a regular meeting on September 25, 2007, has adopted the following provisions as its Responsible Governance Policy:
1. Maintain accurate and complete accounting records according to standard accounting principles;
2. Adopt policies, procedures, and rules and regulations regarding fair governance of the Association including but not limited to the following:
a. determination of assessments;
b. collection of assessments;
c. collection of assessments in arrears;
d. handling of conflicts between Association or Board members;
e. conduct of meeting according to Robert’s Rules of Order;
f. enforcement of its Covenants, Association Rules, and policies;
g. providing easy access of all governing documents and notices on its web site, shieldoterraces.com.
h. display within its Association Rules a schedule of fines for violations or non-compliance.
i. provide a means to Association Members to be heard regarding Association governance.
