All roadways within the Shield-O Terraces Subdivision including the main road, Shield-O Road, and its peripherals, Old Pond Way, Blue Sage Lane, and Upper Shield-O Road are private roadways for use solely by subdivision member and their personal and business guests.
No construction traffic is permitted except by permission of the Board of Directors. Members anticipating construction activity must first contact the Board at kevin@peakvisions.net or phone: 970-923-5818.
The Shield-O Terraces subdivision is a mountainside community with mountain roads that may be dangerous, particularly when the driver is not familiar with using mountain roadways and the variable condition they may present, particularly during Winter and inclement weather.
4x4 vehicles may be advisable year round. Winter tires and chains may be advisable during bad weather. The maximum speed limit within the subdivision is 15 MPH. Speed should be reduced in bad weather to accomplish safe travel.
